Ed Bathgate

Founded Longbottom in 2001 following a recruitment career spanning Armstrong International and Michael Page City. Additional commercial experience with Arthur Andersen, DHL and a 'Dot Com' (part of what was the Durlacher portfolio of Investments). A graduate of Exeter University.

Also a graduate of the Tavistock Institute executive coaching programme 2006; accredited to administrate Myers Briggs; certified NLP practitioner.

Ali Le Count

Ali joined Longbottom in 2006; the previous 10 years having been spent at Whitehead Mann/GKR and Korn/Ferry. Since 2004 Ali has worked within the search-to-search industry placing individuals into the top tier search firms. Focusing predominantly on the Associate/Junior Consultant world Ali works across all sectors and geographies, and has placed individuals in roles as far flung as Australia. Ali is currently studying Criminology & Psychology at The Open University.

Sarah Gooding

Sarah joined Longbottom in 2009 following a decade working for Finance Professionals, part of the Hydrogen Group plc, running their research division. Sarah was responsible for managing a team of individuals that ultimately helped Finance Professionals become a number one supplier of upper quartile candidates to a large number of FTSE 100 clients. Reporting to the Managing Director, her experience also includes creating a New York office candidate offering as well as hiring, training and developing over 150 consultants. Sarah is bi-lingual in Spanish and speaks fluent French. She focuses on placing high calibre individuals into the search and selection arena.
